Ruggine
I started my career in 2002 after I won the Pierlambicchi d’oro, a prestigious prize for aspiring cartoonist. The famous author John Buscema was in the jury.
I worked with some important artists in Italy in comic’s sector: Moreno Burattini (Sergio Bonelli Editor), Simone Bianchi (Marvel of america) Tito Faraci (Disney, Sergio Bonelli) Marco Turini. Actually I’m workin as cartoonist, illustrator and storyboarder. I worked with Lamette Comics, Edizioni Genovese, Arcadia Comics, Raimbow s.r.l., Shockdom, Star comics.
My last work was a number of the serie “Cornelio, delitti d’autore” done with Marco Turini. Actually I’m working on a number of the serie “The secret”. I also have several jobs in advertising and cinema. I worked with some important Italian Advertising studios (Ogilvi, LeoBurnett, Mmad) for commercials.
I worked for cinema too, with Colorado film, in collaboration with the director Gabriele Salvatores for some movies: Come Dio Comanda ,Happy Family and Area Paradiso (coming soon). I have a production in webstrips too: actually I’m proceeding the realization of “LSD, the super demential Legacy”, my comic strip’s project, published by Shockdom.
I’m also working as sketching and comics teacher in Florence design academy and I’m working with Luccacomicsandgames form 2006 for organizing the convention Luccacomicsandgames and a variety of projects in both teaching and comics.
